At Inlet Optical Eye Care Center Dr. Lessly diagnoses and treats eye diseases and disorders, as well as eye injuries. He treats children, adults and seniors, and offers solutions for the active lifestyle of children, and the slower more serious pace of adulthood.
Dr. Lessly will evaluate your overall medical history and perform a thorough two-part eye examination for vision and eye health inclusive of a refraction to correct vision for near sightedness and far sightedness. All eye exams are performed solely by Dr. Lessly to determine your overall eye health. All parts of the eye are examined, inclusive of: the cornea, the retina, etc.
Whether you wear glasses, contact lenses or both, he is well versed in providing thorough family eye care. Contact lens evaluations and fittings are also performed for standard, astigmatic, mono vision, multi focal and other specialty and hard to fit contacts.
Dr. Lessly performs diagnostic eye-related tests to assist in detecting eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration. The tests also aid in managing systemic diseases such as diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Glaucoma testing and pressure tests can be done to evaluate the pressure within your eye which can indicate a higher risk for Glaucoma. Dr. Lessly also performs evaluations for pre- and post-operative laser vision corrective eye surgery (LASIK). He works conjointly with several Ophthalmologists in the area for such procedures.
